4-Skills Music System: A new era of music education
Author: Pavel Semenchuk, founder of Fretster Music Academy
Why traditional music education doesn’t work?
In many music schools, the learning process is chaotic and unstructured.
Lack of logic in lessons – rhythm, theory, motor skills and ear training are taught in isolation.
No visualization of progress – students don’t know what they are learning and where they are developing.
No clear development path – many lose motivation because they don’t see any progress.
I developed the 4-Skills Music System, which makes the learning process simple, logical and transparent.
How does my method work?
Visual representation of the learning process through colors
It is scientifically proven that people retain information better when they are visually supported.
In the 4-Skills Music System, each key skill is marked with a color, making learning more intuitive and structured.
The four main skills of a musician
Rhythm (Rhythm) – Yellow
Rhythm is the foundation of music: developing a sense of time, playing with a metronome, different time signatures and syncopation. Yellow represents energy and movement, which improves the understanding of rhythm.
Motor skills (Motor skills) – Blue
Hand position, finger control, dexterity and chords. Blue symbolizes precision and control, which are crucial for technique.
Ear training (Ear training) – Green
Green represents natural learning and association. Ear training helps to recognize notes and chords, play melodies and understand musical harmony.
Music theory (Theory) – Red
Red is the color of structure and knowledge. This includes chords, harmony, improvisation and composition.
Why is this system more effective than other methods?
1. Music becomes understandable for every student
Color coding helps to structure the learning process so that it is accessible to children and adults alike.
2. Natural learning
Students develop their skills in parallel, just as it happens in real music life.
3. Practice-oriented lessons
In contrast to traditional schools, where students first learn theory, here they play from the very beginning.
4. Clear progress display
Thanks to the visual structure, every student can see at any time which skills they have already mastered and which ones come next.
Investors wanted for the development of the platform
The implementation of this project requires significant investment. We are therefore looking for investors who are interested in an innovation in the field of music education.
